“Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your pilot.
We miscalculated the amount of fuel we need to reach our destination…” Not the words you want to here, also maybe should have been prefaced with a “we are not going to crash.” Anyway, we landed in Scotland for fuel instead of making it to Amsterdam on time. Bumped flights, 4 hours in a line we didn’t need to be in, 1 hour layover turned into 11 but all is good. We have our boarding passes for next leg.
