“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” Jim Elliot
We have one more day of clinics and I have no doubt that good things are to come. By the grace of God, we have met the physical needs of a vast multitude of Filipino people. We have scene and treated gun shot wounds, severe tooth decay/abnormalities, and restored vision. These works are nothing short of a miracle to the people we treated, but it doesn’t compare to the healing that can only be found by putting your trust in Jesus Christ! I don’t have an exact number, but souls are being saved. Hallelujah!
We spent the last two days working in the Baguio area. Our time here has been amazing! The ministries we partnered with here were hard working and extremely hospitable. Pastor Kevin Bennett of Victoria Baptist Church, was our point of contact and a huge blessing.
Please pray for this man and his vision for the Filipino people he serves.
2 Timothy 2:14-16
A word from Daniel.
Hello, my name is Daniel Cheatwood and I’m 15 years old.
My job is really important. I sterilize the instruments for the dentist’s and the doctors by using an autoclave. Today is one more day ahead.
Please pray for us. —
On our way to Bagiuo. We will be doing a few days of work there. Traveling in a foreign country (especially with Doc) is bound to be an adventure! Speaking of adventure, the greatest adventure we can have is a life lived for Christ. What are the things we are putting first throughout our day?
What do our kids and those around us see us investing our time in? Those things good or bad are all lessons of commitment. What are you committed to? What are your actions and choices teaching those around you, especially those little eyes and ears. We aren’t promised tomorrow, so find your purpose in Jesus, and live for Him! You won’t regret it.
Today was a very productive day! We set up a clinic outside a squatter village in San Fernando, Pampanga. Between dental, medical, and optical, by the grace of God, we met the physical needs of 144 Filipino people.
Its always amazing to see what God can accomplish with willing vessels. Our mission is to make disciples of people of all nations. The works we are performing are building bridges that lead to an eternal promise that can only be accomplished through Jesus Christ! 1 Corinthians 15:57-58
Just finished up with our first clinic. It was a long day, but rewarding. We served the people of the Pardacaqui village, in the town of Mexico, in the Pamparga province.
We met the physical needs of a lot of people and saw many people make decisions to follow Jesus Christ. There is no greater joy than to see God at work in the hearts and souls of man. Watch for God!
1 Chronicles 16:23-25
After 21+ hours of travel we all safely made it to our destination in the Philippines. It was nice to be reuinited with some of our fellow brothers and sisters we met last year. We all are grateful for the prayers and support from back home and abroad. It’s amazing to see the body at work. Ephesians 4:16
I’ve always said every journey begins with a step. We have taken our first step and are en route to the Philippines. we are excited to serve these amazing people once again. Please pray for our team, our families, and that the ground will be fertile. Proverbs 3:5-6
